Is the "credit crunch" all just to do with mindset?

With all the news lately about how the credit crunch is affecting us, it is easy to get swept along with the current theory that the world is falling in. If you hadn't been told constantly over the last 6 months that we are having problems would you know though? Is it actually making as much difference to your day to day life as the media would have us believe? With petrol prices coming down from record highs, and shops trying to entice us in with sales and discounts, has it had a lot of effect on your weekly (or monthly) budget? I realise that there are many who have lost jobs (especially in the manufacturing areas) where demand has dried up, but how much of that is due to the media telling us seemingly every day that we have no money? Is it a self fulfilling prophecy? If people tell you every day that there is no money around, do you tighten your spending automatically, even if you know that you have money available and in your bank? Your thoughts and comments on this would be appreciated.

January 2009 Working on a sister website
Stephen is currently spending a lot of time on a different website project called Change Yourself Online which deals with specific topics such as Helping to change your mood, Losing excess weight (belly fat / body fat etc), Lifestyle improvement techniques and more on Overcoming fears and phobias. Have a look today - there may be something that you find valuable!

August 14th Stephen presented a talk on State Management at the Ipswich NLP group meeting. This informative and interactive talk helped explain how we can change states instantly should we need to.
It looked at how the state that we are in, is influenced by the positions that we adopt with our bodies (our physiology). It also investigated some of the characteristics of certain states, including breathing, head position, posture, shoulders, feet and legs. Each state that we use has a certain set of characteristics that are associated with it, meaning that if you wanted to change the state that you are in, the easiest way is to start by changing the position of your body.
If you would like to know more about this talk, or wanted to stage a similar event (1 - 3 hour talk depending on interactivity), then please click here to email us

March 2008 - It is with great sadness that we have to report that HoneyGrove Holistics is closing down later this month, over the last year we have had a growing relationship with those at Honeygrove, and have used the rooms there on a number of occasions. Kaleidoscope itself will still be going from strength to strength, but all sessions will be held in Felixstowe, Suffolk for the forseeable future (untill alternative locations can be arranged). If you know of any rooms that are available for hire, especially those with evening accessibility that may be a little secluded, then please conntact us using the links above.

Februray 2008 - Stephen is now a recognised theraputic coach in a brand new series of techniques called "Inner Power". These techniques are especially effective in overcoming blockages from the past and setting up a new direction for the future. If you would like to know more please contact us now.

11th June 2007 - Laughter
(posted by Stephen)
When dealing with a client yesterday, I remembered how important it is to laugh sometimes. I must admit to being far too serious most of the time and sometimes I forget how good it is to laugh. Laughter is a great healer though, it will overcome fear, help you to feel lighter, and lift the spirits of those around you. There are some great resources out there that can help you as well, especially now with the advent of satellite tv, YouTube and everything else.

Can you remember a time when you laughed so much that your sides hurt?

Here are some resources that made me laugh out loud which I would like to share with you ....

7th June 2007 - Presentation about Rapport
Stephen did a talk at Honey Grove Holistics on Rapport, what it is and how to use it.
This short, interactive talk gave an introduction to some of the techniques used to gain Rapport.
